We offer the following study modes:

  • Full-time (day) studies: a three-year undergraduate programme or five-year combined under-and graduate programmes (single tier studies). Offered both in Polish and in English.
  • Part-time (weekend) studies: a three-year graduate programme or combined five-and-a-half year combined under-and graduate programmes.

The curriculum combines theory and practice both in the field of information technology and visual arts. IT subjects cover such areas as algorithics, computer use, software engineering, multimedia, computer graphics and animation, 3D modelling. Theoretical knowledge is complemented by practical skills gained during workshops in computer labs.
Visual arts education emphasises visual forms, therefore students learn sketching, composition, painting, classical animation and camerawork. They get acquainted with making short film forms, especially with creating special effects using 3D techniques and computer animation. The main aim of artistic education is to make students sensitive to images, because they are crucial both to computer animation and computer games.

Students of New Media Arts organise their festival - MOTYF, which is gaining international importance: motyf.pjwstk.edu.pl
