Enrolment - rules and regulations

Enrolment for the summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020, 1st degree (bachelor) studies starts on January 2020 and concerns only part-time online PL or ENG.

Enrollment for the winter semester of the academic year 2020/2021, 1st degree (bachelor) studies: full-time PL or ENG, part-time PL and part-time online PL or ENG starts on May 2020.


Recruitment procedure

Full-time undergraduate studies

Candidates for full-time studies should have Certificate of completion of secondary education (A-levels or equivalent) with passed mathematics or physics or informatics.

Those wishing to study in English should possess the command of the language confirmed by Extended Matura, IB Diploma or one of the certificates:

  • IELTS - 7 or higher,
  • TOEFL - 90 or higher,
  • TOEIC - 800 or higher,
  • CAE (C1) / CPE (C2),
  • FCE: A.

In the case of absence of a document, the candidate has to pass an interview (personally at PJAIT or via skype).


Part-time studies (only in Polish)

Candidates are admitted on a first come first served basis.

Candidates are admitted on a first come first served basis.


In order to enrol, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Register online using the recruitment portal – https://rekrutacja.pjwstk.edu.pl/

2. After registration candidates should submit the necessary documents to the Recruitment Office of PJAIT (PJATK). Those documents are:

  • application for admission (download from your profile at the recruitment portal)
  • original school leaving certificate - candidates supply an original. foreign certificates must be nostrified, legalised, or include an apostille (if applicable)*
  • official translation of the school leaving certificate into Polish or English
  • 1 digital photography uploaded to the enrolment portal
  • copy of an official ID (to be confirmed by us against the original)

* Nostrification of qualifications are made by Polish Educational Office - Kuratorium Oświaty i Wychowania. Candidates coming from countries with which Poland has signed agreements of mutual recognition of qualifications, candidates from EU, OECD, EFTA are exempt from that requirement). Nostrification can be made until the end of 1st semester of studies.

Legalisation or apostille are made in the country of origin. Candidates coming from EU, EFTA countries are exempt from that requirement.

        Registration, qualifying interview (if applicable) and submission of documents initiate the admission procedure.

3. Decisions of the Recruitment Committee are sent by e-mail to the address entered in the on-line registration system.

4. Successful candidates are obliged to pay the admission fee and submit the proof of payment. The admission fee is non-returnable.

In the payment title, please write your full name, type of payment and choose the field of study, e.g. Jan Nowak, admission fee, graphic design.

5. Upon completion of the formal recruitment procedure candidates sign contracts with the Institute. Candidates who sign the contract during the last two weeks of the recruitment period (before the commencement of the academic year) may not have their account active or all documents (student ID, Student book) issued on the first day of lectures.

6. Once you are admitted, all further payments connected with your study will be made to an individual account. The number of this account will be available on your student profile in Virtual Student Office (Wirtualny Dziekanat): dziekanat.pjwstk.edu.pl
