Electronic catalogue and other PJAIT Library resources

All library collections (including books, journals, catalogues, diploma theses) can be browsed in the Patron library catalogue at http://system-biblioteka.pja.edu.pl/.

Library account

Students log into their own account (My account tab on the library system website) using the sXXXXX login and password, which new students receive by email or which can be generated by the Librarian at their request. The employees receive log-in details during account creation.

Borrowing

In order to borrow anything, a valid student ID or a certificate attesting the Student status (which can be collected at the Dean’s Office) should be presented.
Employees present their personal ID cards.

Return deadlines

Students can borrow 6 copies at a time for a period of 6 weeks (2 weeks for journals and one week for DVDs).
Employees can borrow 8 copies at a time for a period of 6 weeks.

Fees

If the deadline for returning the books is exceeded, the Reader is charged with a fee of PLN 0.50 for each commenced day of retention (payable in cash at the Library).

Proposals for purchase of books and journals

Readers may propose new titles for purchase using an online form.
