“Warsaw-Poland-Europe. Revolutions of 1989” is a competition for a poster commenting the events of 1989 and their consequences. Graphic designers and students of artistic universities may send their projects until May 28. Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology is a co-organizer of the competition.
The projects applied for the competition should be an artistic and intellectual commentary on the Revolutions of 1989 and the subsequent political, economic and social changes in Poland.
The projects should be printed on paper in B1 format and submitted in 3 copies. The participant should also include an USB stick with graphic files. The applications will be accepted until May 28, 3 PM.
The results of the competition will be announced on June 13. The awarded works and other works chosen by the jury will be presented on an exhibition at the Museum of Warsaw as well as displayed around the city. The exhibition’s opening is planned for June.
The competition is organized by the Museum of Warsaw in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and the Association of Functional Graphics Creators.
