From 16th to 20th May, students of the 1st year of the New Media Arts (NMA) faculty (program in English) were taking part in the International plein-air workshops in Cieszyn.
Workshops were organised in cooperation with the Cieszyn Castle – Design Center.
It resulted in two exhibitions: in the Cieszyn Castle and in the art gallery of the ZNACZY SIĘ New Art Foundation in Krakow. Also, students created a building facade animation that was projected during the exhibition in the Castle. Additional projections are planned for September on the National Audiovisual Institute (NInA) building in Warsaw during the ATypI conference, and on the facade of the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, Germany during the MOTYF festival.
Students created their posters and animations using fragments of Stanisław Lem poetry and of Polish modern poetry by Adam Zdrowski: “From the Balcony” and “Like a Tourist in a Milk Bar”.
