AnimaTricks was founded on the initiative of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Its main focus is practical training in 3D animation and effects.
The school enables artistic development of animators and 3D graphics, as well as acquiring skills and qualifications in the field of film, computer games, animation and 3D graphics. In addition, students’ works take part in international festivals and reviews by young artists.
The leading staff consists of practitioners who work for the largest Polish and foreign manufacturing institutes.
All participants of the training have modern computer laboratories, graphic studios, multimedia, motion capture, recording studios, etc. at their disposal.
Classes take place in form of workshops conducted in groups. Students learn, among others, to create animations, animated language, principles of scripting and storyboarding in animation, special effects, dynamics and simulation, compositing, etc. They learn about the stages of preproduction and postproduction of animated films. They work with Adobe and Autodesk Maya - used by the world's largest production studios.
Classes are taught in Polish.
Training participants work individually or perform tasks in small subgroups. As part of the diploma thesis, students prepare a short animated film together.
Graduates receive a certificate of completion of AnimaTricks 3D Animation School.
Training takes 2 semesters
The training includes 350 hours of workshops with excellent practices from the biggest production companies in Poland and in the world.
