Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw was established in 1994 following agreements between the governments of Poland and Japan. As one of the best private institutions offering higher education in Poland, it has been educating specialists in the field of computer science, management, cultural studies, interior design, arts and graphic design for years.

PJAIT occupies leading positions in prestigious rankings and is distinguished by students, lecturers and the media. The Academy has its branches in Gdańsk, where it conducts studies at the Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of New Media Arts, and in Bytom. For years, the PJAIT Branch in Bytom has been operating the Research and Development Center, where new technologies and science meet business, medicine and the military. In 2023, first-cycle studies at the Faculty of Computer Science will start at the Branch in Bytom.

In addition, PJAIT offers postgraduate studies, MBA studies for the IT industry, preparatory courses and online courses.

The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology is a higher education institution with a technical profile and in its educational offer it emphasizes the development of new technologies and their application in various areas. Regardless of the educational programs and majors pursued, students also learn about Japanese culture, language and customs. One of the fields of study offered by the Academy is Culture of Japan. PJATK is also the only Japanese language examination center in Poland, it hosts JLPT - Japanese-Language Proficiency Test.

We can meet many foreigners at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. In the academic year of 2022/23, according to data from the Dean's Office, we have students from 74 countries! We are glad that young people from all over the world decide to study in the middle of Europe, at our Academy!
